Outline: This is a four-unit, two-story rental apartment building with symmetrical planes on each floor. It is built on a site where single-family houses and low-to-medium-rise apartment buildings are built. The garden on the southern perimeter of the house pulls the house away from the street and neighboring land. The low eaves of the gabled roof are in scale with the surrounding residential area.
