The Kuma River was inundated by torrential rains in July 2020. A total of nine Minna no Ie (Everyone's House) buildings are being developed as replacement facilities for community centers in the affected areas. Jun Yanagisawa/Contemporaries + Yanagisawa Laboratory at Kanto Gakuin University + Yap Minwei were in charge of the Nakatsumichi House for Everyone and the Fujimoto/Daimon House for Everyone, which were planned on the site of a former elementary school.
