HOME FOR ALL IN HITOYOSHI

Outline
A community center in Hitoyoshi City, which was damaged by the torrential rains in Kyushu in July 2020, was rebuilt as "Everybody's House," a community center for disasters that began after the Great East Japan Earthquake, with the selection of an architect under the Kumamoto Artpolis project. Four "Minna no Ie" houses were constructed for the six towns affected by the disaster. On the east side of the site, existing trees such as cherry trees, a shrine and a monument were erected.
