Outline: The entire site of the "Thousand Year Olive Terrace" was planned as an entrance to experience the olive grove as part of the "Olive Forest Development Concept," in which SHODOSHIMA HEALTHY LAND, a company engaged in olive cultivation, research and development, production, and sales on Shodoshima, plans a place to experience large olive trees, its own olive grove, and its products. The cypress logs that form the arches were sourced directly from Shodoshima, and VUILD purchased the logs, peeled them, transported them to a sawmill, dried them, and processed them with a ShopBot by the client himself.
