ROW HOUSES IN NAOSHIMA SHIMOTSU・MIYANOURA
SAMBUICHI ARCHITECTS
- Outline
- This project is part of "The Naoshima Plan," a project initiated by Hiroshi Sambuichi in 2011 to survey the streets, waterways, and architecture of Naoshima to highlight the "moving materials" of wind, water, and sun on the island, and to share their values with the people. Of the two dormitories, Shimotsu Dormitory and Miyaura Dormitory, for the staff of the Fukutake Foundation, Shimotsu Dormitory was planned as a community-type dormitory.
