- Based on the experience of the torrential rain disaster that occurred in 2018, a new two-story disaster prevention base facility was built to strengthen the disaster prevention function in the eastern area of kumano town. the stucco-finished exterior walls have a spiral curved surface. the stucco-finished exterior walls have a spiral curved surface that serves as a symbol of the interior functions and the town, and also protects the facility by catching water and guiding residents to evacuate in the event of flooding.
