- As the face of the campus located across from the main gate, the building was required to serve as a place for students and as a nexus between the university and the local community, in addition to providing administrative and management functions and a hall. A folding door, which can be fully opened, connects the interior and exterior of the building, allowing students and local residents to relax, hold meetings, and give mini-lectures.
