Outline: This single-story, wooden, small-scale multifunctional in-home care facility is located in Yachimatashi, Chiba Prefecture. The ceiling is approximately 4.5 meters high, and light spreads through the high glass and polycarbonate windows. The ceiling of the atrium is painted silver. Some of the living rooms and dining rooms are fitted with sliding doors made of jute, which can be closed to create living spaces or made into private rooms.
