SHINJUKU SUMITOMO BUILDING RE-INNOVATION PROJECT

Outline
This is a renovation of the Shinjuku Sumitomo Building, constructed in 1974 as part of the redevelopment of the former Yodobashi Water Treatment Plant. By excluding the elevator shaft from the floor-area ratio and partially reducing the basement floor, an indoor plaza of approximately 6,700m2 was created under the allowable floor-area ratio.
