Outline: The library is a combination of the prefectural and municipal libraries. The library is wrapped by a large roof with a maximum span of about 25 m, and has a terraced space. The "book dock" located in the center of the building, which houses the administrative offices and closed stacks, guarantees the seismic force, and the view to the plaza is secured by supporting the joist beams, which are based on simple beams welded on site, with round columns of about 250mm diameter. In addition, there is no lighting in the ceiling, but lighting is provided above the bookcase.
