FUKOSHA

Outline
This is a housing complex of 12 units facing a canal near the station. The surrounding buildings are getting taller, and the sunlight environment is deteriorating. In this situation, we sought a shape that maximizes winter sunlight and minimizes summer sunlight, and came up with a twisting building elevation in which the openings of each room are oriented in a direction that provides a small amount of direct sunlight.
