Outline
Extension of the main building of Minakata Kumagusu Memorial Hall. The site is located in the Banshozan Park of Yoshino-Kumano National Park. In order to realize the pillar-less space on the second floor and the pilotis on the first floor, an arch is inserted into the Rahmen structure (half arch + pin pillars) to increase the horizontal rigidity.
