- Cisternerne, the exhibition venue, is a cistern built around 1730. It was buried at the end of the 1850s and supplied water to Copenhagen as an underground cistern until the waterworks were installed. It was buried at the end of the 1850s and supplied water to Copenhagen as an underground cistern until the water supply system was installed. Although the cistern was no longer used, water continues to flow here. The exhibition is designed around the theme of "water," which has supported the lives of the citizens of Copenhagen. The exhibition will be held from March 21, 2017 to February 2, 2018.
