MUJI BOOKS YURAKUCHO

MUJI BOOKS, a new retail complex created in conjunction with the renovation of MUJI Yurakucho, consists of MUJI products and their associated books. Based on "Manga Pod" (2002), Atelier Bow-Wow designed the wooden bookshelves that crisscross the store, and the selection of 20,000 books was made by the Editorial Engineering Laboratory, led by Seigo Matsuoka. The 20,000 books were selected by the Editorial Engineering Laboratory, led by Matsuoka Seigo, based on the themes of "Sa (books), Shi (food), Susu (elements), Se (life), and So (binding)," all of which are meant to savor life.
