Outline: The Fukuoka showroom of kitchenhouse, a pioneering manufacturer of system kitchens, is located in Hakata, Fukuoka Prefecture, Kyushu. The structure looks as if a white slab has been bent. With an internal core and flat pillars, the north and south sides of the building have only glass surfaces, in an attempt to blur the boundary with the surrounding environment. The void space is located on the axis to the shrine on the south side, with the entrance hall on the left and the event space on the right.
