HASEGAWA JYOKO

Outline
This is a renovation of the shop of Hasegawa Joko, which has been familiar to the community for making miso and soy sauce since the Meiji era, and a renovation of an unused warehouse and storehouse. The warehouse was renovated into a café, and four separate triangular-roofed buildings were placed inside the 9.6 m long, 14.78 m wide, and 8 m high factory to create a space that can be used by local residents for concerts and culture classes throughout the year.
