UNDER THE CHUO LINE RAILWAY TRACKS - COMMUNITY STATION / MOBILITY STATION

Outline
This project utilizes the space under the elevated railway tracks created by the continuous multilevel crossing project of the Chuo Line. A container module building is placed under the 6-meter-high elevated railway tracks to serve as a commercial facility and a base for the local community. The solid steel frame façade, which borders the sidewalk, creates a gentle boundary. The alley space on the north side of the building serves as an intermediate area between the sidewalk and the shops.
