- Reconstruction of the Palace Hotel, which opened in 1961 (this magazine 6111). On the right is the Palace Hotel with 290 guest rooms. The west side of the hotel building has a diagonal gantry to avoid direct confrontation with the Imperial Palace. The Palace Building, with commercial facilities and offices, is on the left. Four stories below ground and 23 stories above ground. Steel-frame construction. Using the special floor-area-ratio application district system, unused floor space was transferred to the Marunouchi Eiraku Building.
