The new head office of Shimizu Corporation in Chuo-ku, Tokyo. The company moved back to Kyobashi, where it had been headquartered for about 90 years. A hybrid exterior system incorporating solar panels and earthquake-resistant panels has achieved a 50% reduction in CO2 emissions. The site was certified as Tokyo's 14th special urban renewal district, with a floor area ratio of 1,230% and a development area of approximately 50,000m2.
