This project uses the site of the Hozumi lumber mill in Iga City, Mie Prefecture, as a public space to solve forestry problems and depopulation issues through urban-rural exchange. various schools (workshops) have been held since 2007. Since 2007, various schools (workshops) have been held. This time, a wooden "sleeping place" was built in the sawmill for school participants to stay. In addition, a plaza where visitors and local residents can interact and a workshop for furniture production have been constructed.
