Outline
The new building is located in the center of Tohoku University's Aobayama campus, which is undergoing renovation and revitalization, and integrates a cafeteria, lecture rooms, faculty meeting rooms, and administrative offices. The site is located on the ridge of Aobayama Mountain, and the linear layout and architectural shape were determined based on the ridge line and existing trees. The landscape, including the gently undulating landscape, was designed to "revitalize the ridge.
