KYOTO UNIVERSITY INAMORI CENTER

Outline
This memorial building is located on the grounds of Kyoto University, facing the Kamo River, and consists of the Kyoto Prize Library and Digital Archive on the first floor and research laboratories on the 23rd floor. The building has a north-south façade of more than 100 m and is open to the west. The combination of eaves and motorized external louvers prevents solar radiation from entering the building.
