- This junior high school is located in Kawakami Village, central Nagano Prefecture, at an altitude of over 1,000 meters. The main structure is made of larch laminated wood produced in the village. As a reuse of the "EXPO 2005 AICHI JAPAN", the wood of the stairs of the Canada pavilion is used and the sculpture "Player Alien" by Mr. Sato Urisa is placed outside.
