GAKKEN HEAD OFFICE

Outline
In the standard floor, the stairwells and bathrooms are located outside of the rectangular volume to form a windmill-shaped plane, which generates human movement and promotes natural ventilation in the intermediate period. 3-story mega-trusses reduce the number of columns on the first and second floors. Vertical oil dampers are installed in the mega-trusses on the top 24 floors. The nursery on the first basement floor and the gallery on the second floor are semi-public spaces.
