- This is the first junior high school built in Nagaoka City. After the Niigata Chuetsu Earthquake, the school was added to serve as an emergency shelter. A square and a teacher's corner for each subject, and a set of home-base and classrooms are arranged in a cluster. The structure consists of cast-in-place concrete ramen beams and columns with PC joist beams as secondary members.
