SAGAMI WOMEN'S UNIVERSITY MARGUERITE-HONKAN・GYMNASIUM
NIHON SEKKEI
- Outline
- The main building of Margaret is a building for Sagami Women's University's administrative divisions, new faculties and graduate schools. It consists of a low-rise building with a "R" shaped plan and a high-rise building with a long and narrow plan. The roof of the low-rise building is greened. The span of the high-rise building is shortened by using precast concrete and half-PCa composite floor plates, and the transparent concrete architecture emphasizes the relationship with the surrounding greenery. The gymnasium is a box-shaped volume with concrete gable ends and mirrored stainless steel roofing.
