FRENCH EMBASSY RESIDENCE RENEWAL PROJECT

Outline
Renovation of the official residence of the French Ambassador to Japan, built in 1957. The walls and ceiling of the first-floor salon for guests are made of moiré wood and the frame of the existing reinforced concrete Rahmen structure. The guest rooms on the second floor are designed in a Japanese style, using a variety of natural materials such as stone and diatomaceous earth.
