Green in the City / House in the Green

Outline: This project involves building a new house within the garden of the client’s parents’ home. To preserve as many of the existing trees as possible, we designed the building’s volume to weave through the garden paths and gaps, creating a floor plan with five lines extending radially outward. We also carefully surveyed the undulations of the ground to determine the levels of the foundation and floors.
