Outline: A weekend home situated along the coast of Tateyama-Hasama. The large openings carved along the hip-and-gable roof respond to the environmental axis that stretches from the mountain range to the sea. The roof is shaped to follow the plane of the building, transforming into different proportions depending on the viewing angle, thereby softening the strong autonomy of the hip-and-gable roof.
