Outline
A residence for researchers built on a lot overlooking a rice paddy situated approximately 10 meters below, across from a green space to the west. To create distance from the surrounding homes—which face the park directly and feature front gardens—the building was positioned close to the front road, with the façade set back at an acute angle. While the floor plan is based on an asymmetrical isosceles triangle with a base angle of 57.8 degrees, the joint patterns and structural centerlines are deliberately offset on each floor to establish distinct vectors for each level and living space, ensuring that no single axis is given priority.
