Immovable Blind

- A terrace and roof were added to the courtyard of a 30-year-old house, and the interior space connected to it was renovated into an earthen-floored area. The roof was constructed by joining 118 cedar beams at slightly varying angles to create a shape reminiscent of blinds fluttering in the wind, creating a space that blocks views from neighboring homes while still allowing light and breeze to enter.
