House in Ookayama

Outline: The house is located in a residential area in the city center. The plan was to rebuild the house where the grandparents lived, next to the house on the north side where the owner's parents' family lived. The project was approved as a single lot together with the parent's house, and was constructed on three levels from the first basement floor to the second floor, taking advantage of the relaxed diagonal lines on the north side of the building. The walls on each side of the house are slanted walls that open up like feathers from a rectangle, and penetrate into each other with the margins of the city.
