House in Nakaicho

Outline: The designer's own residence and office on a cliff facing a park on the southeast side. From the front, a space with depth is created by the continuous layers of the office, courtyard, main house, and park, and by the openings on the same axis that connect them. The one-story detached building is located on the street side, which is considered in consideration of the streetscape, while at the same time protecting the security and privacy of the main building. The roof lines are aligned to create an exterior that does not give the impression of annexation.
