Outline: The house is built on an undulating site on the shore of Lake Biwa. The plan was to build a hut for resting between the urban area where the owner lives and his work place. The whole structure is composed of steel foundation units to be assembled on site, a corrugated steel roof, a "jitomi sash" made from a vinyl house gable ventilation window, and a deck that extends toward the lake side when it is opened. The whole structure was made by assembling existing parts and parts made in the past.
