Renovation of the Abukuma Plain

Outline: It stands in an area surrounded by rice fields. The former farmhouse was renovated, and a shed used as a farm equipment warehouse was reduced in size. A vertical log structure was added to the east side of the house to connect it to the horse stables, making it an annexed house. The exterior of the old house is made of Japanese cedar from the forest owned by the owner's ancestors.
