House in Time

STUDIO SYNAPSE

Outline: The house was built using trees from a forest planted by the owner's grandparents 70 years ago. The house was designed with a view to passing on the house and the timbers used in the house to the owner's children and future generations, based on the time when the forest was created and the owner's thoughts and feelings. In order to accommodate future generations of occupants, the exterior antechamber was utilized and the interior was designed with as few structural walls as possible.
