Outline: A narrow house in a residential area of Kyoto. Facing a narrow alley, the volume was raised to fit the trapezoidal shape of the site with deep steps at the back and a view of the city. It is a one-room space with windows that provide a view in every direction. The designer and the client constructed the furniture, flooring, terrace, etc. on their own.
