The house is located in a densely populated area of Tokyo with a variety of old and new buildings. In order to make the best use of the light shining through the gaps in the neighboring land to the south, the living room on the second floor overhangs the east garden, and the light reaches all the terraces and the plants by the corridor on the first floor.
