The House of Koganei

Outline
This house was designed to be built quietly in the middle of nature by the Nogawa River. The cruciform plan is placed diagonally to the site to reduce the sense of oppression against the surrounding promenade, and the different openings in each room cut the garden emotionally, creating a scene. It is intended to appeal to the senses.
