OKUSAWA

Outline
This is a house for a child family built between the main house and the garage where the parent family lives. The external form of the house was determined with consideration for not changing the living environment of the inhabitants of the main house as much as possible, such as privacy and sunlight. The roof folded up diagonally and the furniture finished in concrete as well as the building make the third floor space a series of small places with a physical scale. By obscuring the division between the building and the furniture, the work intends to create a free relationship between the material and the body, where objects exist as material before they have taken on a function.
