sandango

Outline
The plan consists of three tiers of three square floors along the slope of the mountain. The roof is ventilated to discharge heat and moisture from the attic and walls to the outside, preventing condensation in the walls and increasing the durability of the wood. The trees that were cut down to build this house were used to make all of the horizontal beams, plank walls, and flooring. It is intended that the house will age beautifully through the effective use of natural materials and continued maintenance.
