- "The renovation of a 120-year-old townhouse was part of the Kanazawa Art Platform 2008 exhibition. The project aimed to design the framework for the use of the machiya itself. In order to use the house as a guesthouse, a large number of students were involved in a thorough cleaning, reproduction of existing furniture, production of lighting and bedding, and extension of the bathroom.
