OKINOSU INDOOR PARK

Outline
The building, which used to be a newspaper printing center, was renovated into an indoor sports facility during normal times and into a complex facility that will serve as a wide-area goods transportation base in the event of a disaster, and a management and operation policy that integrates the two is planned. The former truck berths will be used for loading and unloading supplies in an emergency, and the steps have been eliminated with movable pallets to create a place to sit. A new sliding polycarbonate door was installed where the shutter used to be, which opens and closes like a shoji during normal times to connect with the area under the canopy, taking into account the height of the trucks.
