Outline
It was designed as a hotel where families and groups can stay for long periods of time in a single room. the height of the sashes changes according to the surrounding view and the location of the interior. the exterior walls are made of fair-faced concrete with cedar panel formwork, and a small eave is attached above the opening. twelve 500 x 1,300 mm columns are arranged in a staggered pattern on a flat surface of approximately 10 m square. the ceiling height is 3,580 mm, and four 500 x 600 mm reinforced concrete penetrations are arranged in a windmill pattern. the columns are staggered to avoid the intersections of the beams arranged in well girders, and the direction of the penetrations is changed in a windmill-like manner on each floor.
