Renovation of steel-framed station facilities using tama timber. the platform sheds were rebuilt and reinforced against earthquakes, new ticket gate exits were built, and the station building was reconstructed. the newly constructed platform sheds were set at a height that would allow them to be covered by the existing sheds so that they would not be exposed to rain during the construction work, which was to be carried out while the train was in operation. the height of the inner face of the up platform pillars is 3,650 mm.
