Reconstruction of a hotel annex in ama town, oki county, shimane prefecture, japan. based on a tourism plan in which the entire island is regarded as a hotel, which is registered as a unesco world geopark, the town took the initiative in planning the hotel. the hotel is arranged in a long and narrow plan along the coast, and all the rooms are open to the sea side, so that the natural scenery of the island can be seen from the rooms.
