YOKKAICHI-CITY CENTRAL GREEN FIELD SPORTS FACILITIES

Outline
As a venue for the Mie-Tokowaka National Athletic Meet to be held in 2021, the entire 28.5-hectare central green space is planned to be redeveloped. An arena with seating for about 3,500 spectators, an archery range, three soccer fields, and a parking lot for 850 cars (planned) will be newly constructed, while the existing track and field field stadium and the second gymnasium will be integrated. The arch-shaped promenade on the south side of the new gymnasium will form the axis of the landscape of the entire central green space.
