Outline
Operated by the Fukutake Foundation. It consists of a glasshouse with a pergola (greenhouse, Sejima Kazuyo Architects), a tool shed (Akarui Architectural Planning), and a composting toilet (Matsuzawa Kazuo Office). Chickens run freely around the site where flowers and grass bloom, and herbs and vegetables can be grown. Bio-geo-filters and composting toilets are used to create a natural cycle. This is an experimental botanical garden that considers future ways of living through trial and error with a variety of people through workshops and other activities.
