- The mansion, built in 1889 by Hayashi Yuzo (a member of the First Imperial Diet and Minister of Communications, Agriculture and Commerce), was donated to Sukumo City, where it has been preserved and restored as a place to carry on the history of the region, and a new eating space and kitchen have been built as a community space for the region.
