A reinforced concrete apartment built in 1963 on the hillside of Senkoji Mountain in Onomichi was renovated to provide accommodation, a bar, a cafe, and a gallery space. The floor and hip walls are finished with Sanwa-Duchi clay, and the walls and ceiling are finished with plaster. Each room is finished in a different color using soil from the garden on the site.
